One British men became the first person in the world cured of HIV new therapy made by a team of British scientists, writes The Telegraph.
44-year-old is one of 50 people who are currently treated with a new treatment made by scientists from several British universities. They Sunday Times said that the virus is completely gone from the patient’s blood, and if so remain, it will be the first person cured of HIV.

“This is one of the first serious steps towards finding a complete cure for HIV. Now we explore the possibility to treatment. This is a big challenge, but progress is really amazing, “said Marc Samuelson, director of the National Institute for Health Research. The new drug is supervised by scientists from the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London and University College London.
