Many have reacted to the fact Donald Trump is expected to order the construction of the Mexican border wall on Wednesday night.
The news has split opinion; with many saying this is a sign the President’s policies are all going to go ahead, and he shouldn’t be underestimated.
He confirmed his plans on Tuesday night, tweeting: “Big day planned on NATIONAL SECURITY tomorrow. Among many other things, we will build the wall!”
Some think it’s a needless waste of public money.
Others are excited and are welcoming the move to stem illegal immigration from Mexico.
Just as it split opinion during the presidential election campaign, it is splitting opinion now.
Here is how social media reacted to the wall news:
Some said this means people should stop underestimating him
Maybe this finally means the end of the campaign analysis: "He's not going to _________." https://t.co/RRHpHinaYO

Others think it still won’t happen
I'm still skeptical the Trump wall will actually be built. If it is, it will be a waste of time and resources.

People picked on his grammar
This is so unimportant, but this tweet technically says that he's building the wall tomorrow. https://t.co/L6UFJEOCZu

Some seemed sceptical about Mexico paying for the wall
Others gave him some construction advice
This is going to get interesting. Mexico official says county will walk out if Trump brings up wall in talks https://t.co/c905o60y2w
