The Packers coaching staff will look a little different this upcoming season.
The Green Bay Packers announced on Monday they have finalized the coaching staff for the 2017 season. They named Jeff Blasko assistant offensive line coach, Tim McGarigle defensive quality control coach, and David Raih offensive perimeter coach.
Blasko is in his second year with the Packers after serving as a coaching administrator in 2016. Prior to joining the Packers, Blasko was the tight ends coach for the University of Pennsylvania and he also spent three seasons with the University of Kansas at the same position.
McGarigle joins the Packers after spending the last season with the University of Illinois at the linebackers coach. He was responsible for Hardy Nickerson and Tre Watson to record 100-tackle seasons.
Raih has been with the Packers the last three seasons, spending the 2014 and 2015 seasons as a coaching administrator and last season he was an assistant offensive line coach. He played college football at Iowa where he was the quarterback from 1999-2003.
