Last summer Julian Draxler attempted to force a move away from Wolfsburg, only for the German club to block his departure. Now, a few months on, he found himself booed by his own fans after he was brought on as a substitute in Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at home to Hertha Berlin.
A former Arsenal target, Draxler then said the following words: “I don’t think I need to tell anybody what [being booed] does to a person – it certainly doesn’t help you.
“There’s no doubt it makes it hard for you to perform on the field.
“I can understand the fans, though. They have every right to do that. I said in the summer the way I feel and I stand by that.”
What on earth are you waiting for Arsene Wenger – go and get your man.
You want moooooore? Ok, let’s see what we have for you.
