SuperCoach AFL 2017: every score for St Kilda’s win over Port Adelaide on Thursday night

IF you thought Nick Riewoldt was about to slow down, think again.

If Saturday night’s performance is any indication, the most expensive forward in SuperCoach will be well worth the $549,500 price tag.

The ageless Saint compiled 14 disposals, six marks and a goal assist in just 67 per cent game time for 70 SuperCoach points.

Playing mostly on a wing and floating back to half-back, there seems no reason Riewoldt can’t replicate his outstanding form from 2016 when he averaged 101.

There was also plenty to like from fellow Saints Luke Dunstan (119), David Armitage (109) and breakout contenders Seb Ross (94) and Jack Billings (83).

Elsewhere, Jack Steele (50) played just 35 per cent game time and Koby Stevens (51) logged 69 per cent time on ground.

There was also some noteworthy performances at Port Adelaide with Ollie Wines leading the way with 102 points.

At $533,700, the midfield bull will have to clean up his disposal and adding goals to his resume certainly wouldn’t hurt as he finished with 20 touches at 65 per cent efficiency but a whooping 10 tackles.

Chad Wingard’s rumoured move into the midfield might just look to be the real deal as he notched up 100 points.

The mercurial – although frustrating from a SuperCoach perspective – star managed 18 disposals at 50 per cent efficiency, three marks, four clearances, three tackles and a goal in 85 per cent game time.

Of the rookies, Sam Powell-Pepper flitted in and out of the game but when he was in, it was eye-catching and he’s almost certain to debut in Round 1.

Mature-age forward Brett Eddy also looked likely, playing the second half only he took several marks and had three shots on goal but couldn’t convert.
