The Titans will receive the 100th overall pick in the third round of the NFL draft from the Rams as part of last year’s “king’s ransom” deal, the team learned Friday when the NFL announced compensatory draft picks earlier than usual.
They’re also receiving the fifth overall pick from Los Angeles after trading the No. 1 pick to the Rams last season. The Titans received two first-round picks, two second rounders and two third rounders in the deal, which allowed L.A. to select quarterback Jared Goff with the top pick. The Titans dropped to 15th overall before swinging a deal with the Browns to move up to eighth overall, where they drafted tackle Jack Conklin.
A first- and third-round selection were due to Tennessee this season.
